Comments:
-
This is my field of 68. I may tweak
seedings a bit based on the results today but not much and obviously if Yale or
VCU lose their spots in the field will be replaced.
-
I went with Purdue as the final 1
seed and will leave it at that.
-
Pitt is my last team in, but IMO it
comes down to Pitt, ASU, Oklahoma State for the last 2 spots. I would have no
qualm if it is Oklahoma State or even Wisconsin,
although I don’t think it will be Wisconsin. The main reason I have OSU out is
their 6-12 record vs Q1 and 18-15 overall record.
Notes on my selection process:
1.
I don’t create matchups. My goal is to
match the NCAA S Curve and select the right teams. Honestly the bracketing
procedures are too tedious.
2.
Conference champions (red teams) in
the pre-conference tournament brackets are picked by the team with the highest
conference winning % at time of bracket creation. If there is a tie, the team
with the highest NET is picked.
3.
Brackets will be updated at least on
Monday and Friday. As we get closer to the end of the season and during
conference tournament weeks, it will be updated every day.
